Objective

To construct a group psychological training for junior officers based on competency model and explore its intervention effect on competency and mental health of junior officers.

Methods

Delphi method was used to construct a group psychological training program for junior officers based on competency model. A total of 63 junior officers were subjected with convenience sampling during October and November 2023. According to the principle of randomized controlled experimental design, the participants were divided into experimental group (n=30) and control group (n=33). The experimental group was given our group psychological training program for totally 8 sessions, 90~120 min per session, 2 sessions per week, while the control group received no such training. Competency scale, 12-item general health questionnaire (GHQ-12), Chinese perceived stress scale (CPSS), and Neuroticism Extraversion Openness Five-Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI) were used to assess the 2 groups before and at the end of intervention.

Results

① The results of the 2 rounds of expert consultation showed that the total recovery rate was 100%, the expert authority coefficient was 0.87, the Kendall's coordination coefficients (ω) of the 2 rounds of expert consultation were 0.102 (P < 0.001) and 0.410 (P < 0.001), respectively, with a coefficients of variation of < 0.3, indicating reliable expert consultation. ② The results of post-intervention time main effect indicated that the total score of competence (P < 0.001), extroversion score (P < 0.05) and responsibility score (P < 0.01) were significantly higher, but the total score of GHQ-12 was obviously lower in the experimental group than the control group (P < 0.001). ③ The results of post-intervention group main effects revealed that the extraversion score of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.01). ④ The results of the post-intervention time × group interaction displayed that the experimental group had notably higher total competency score (P < 0.01), job performance score (P < 0.05), extraversion score (P < 0.05), agreeableness score (P < 0.001) and responsibility score (P < 0.01), but lower total GHQ-12 score (P < 0.01) than the control group.

Conclusion

Competency-based modeling group psychological training for junior officers can significantly enhance the competency, strengthen the extroversion, agreeableness and responsibility in personality traits, and thus improve job performance for them.

Objective

To analyze the research status of group psychological training in the field of psychological training using bibliometric methods, predict future research hotspots and development trends, and summarize the shortcomings in group psychological training.

Methods

Chinese literature related to group psychological training from 2003 to 2022 was retrieved from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI), Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform(Wanfang), and the VIP Chinese Science and Technology Periodical Database. Qualified literature was selected using NoteExpress V3.9, and the publication volume and journals of the qualified literature were statistically described using Excel. VOSviewer 1.6.18 was used to draw a co-authorship density view of core authors, and CiteSpace 6.1. R6 was used to draw co-occurrence maps, keyword clustering, timeline, and burst analysis for visualization analysis.

Results

In the 3 major Chinese databases, a total of 4 757 qualified articles were included. The overall publication volume showed a slow growth trend, with medical and educational journals being the main publication outlets. Journal of Chinese Health Psychology got the top in highest number of publications, reaching 171 articles. A total of 173 core authors and representative research teams such as Yang Guoyu, Li Na, Wang Ping and Zhang Yan were identified. Co-occurrence and clustering analysis of keywords showed a focus on empirical intervention research. Keyword burst analysis indicated that themes such as quality of life, psychological state, social functioning, negative emotions, and psychological resilience were the research directions of group psychological training. Group intervention research emerged as a research hotspot, representing the future development trend of psychological training.

Conclusion

The research hotspots of group psychological training mainly include group psychological counseling, group psychological therapy, group psychological consultation, and group psychological training. They are reflected in areas such as college students, mental health education, positive psychology, anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, and psychological qualities, and have obtained certain stage achievemets. However, further exploration and improvement are still needed in theoretical research, research methods, long-term tracking and evaluation, integration of theory and practice, and interdisciplinary cooperation.

Objective

To analyze the miRNAs expression profile of the amygdala of mice with chronic stress-induced anxiety disorder and explore the key miRNAs and their possible targets.

Methods

Eight-week-old C57BL/6 male mice with body weight ranging from 18 g to 22 g were randomly divided into anxiety disorder group(n=12)and control group(n=12). The anxiety disorder group have been restrained in narrow space for 10 consecutive days(2 h/d)to create a mouse model of anxiety disorder, while the control group accepted no stress. After the modeling was completed, the anxiety-like behavior of mice was detected by elevated cross maze experiment, open field experiment and light and dark box experiment. Transcriptome sequencing was used to detect the expression of miRNAs in the amygdala of mice between the anxiety disorder group and the control group. The target genes of differentially expressed miRNA were predicted by miRanda. Functional annotation was conducted by Gene Ontology(GO)analysis, and signal pathway analysis by Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)database to explore the important miRNAs in the amygdala that play a role in anxiety disorders. The key miRNAs explored before were quantitatively detected by RT-qPCR.

Results

The anxiety disorder group showed significant anxiety-like behavior in elevated cross maze, open field and light and dark box experiments. Compared with the control group, the mice in the anxiety disorder group had 35 differentially expressed miRNAs in the amygdala. The results of GO function analysis showed that the predicted target genes were significantly enriched in the functions related to plasticity regulation of synaptic, while the results of KEGG signal pathway analysis showed that the differential miRNA predicted target genes were obviously enriched in signal transduction and cancer-related signaling pathways. The expression of miR-128-2-5p in the anxiety disorder group was significantly decreased(P<0.05), while the expression of miR-10b-5p, miR-200a-3p, miR-200b-3p and miR-429-3p in the anxiety disorder group were significantly increased(P<0.05). Among them, the extents of changes of miR-128-2-5p and miR-200a-3p were consistent with the transcriptome sequencing results.

Conclusion

The key miRNA molecule miR-128-2-5p and its downstream target genes bmpr2, irf6 and rbfox3 may become the potential therapeutic targets for anxiety disorders.
