The increase of urban vitality is accompanied by increasingly prominent man-made risks, and cities need to respond in a multi-dimensional resilience. The high-speed railway station area is the key space of passenger flow disturbance, but research on the disturbance characteristics and resilience response of high-speed railway station areas needs to be strengthened. Taking Xi’an North Railway Station as the research object, this paper used passenger flow disturbance index, connectivity diversity index and participatory resilience response appraisal method to analyze passenger flow disturbance characteristics resilience response mechanism and planning strategies. The results show the passenger flow disturbances have the characteristics of periodicity and spatial heterogeneity. The resilience response of high-speed railway station areas is the result of factors such as inaccurate development positioning, inefficient spatial utilization, imbalance in connectivity diversity, division of governance rights and responsibilities, and delayed mechanism response. It is suggested that the response efficiency should be improved from the aspects of paying attention to the positioning of traffic function, improving the layout and connecting space of station area, and building an efficient governance system, so as to improve the resilience of high-speed railway station area.
