Recent years, more and more artificial intelligence technologies have been applied to the auxiliary design of tunnels. However, the model is low accuracy due to lack of support data. Based on a few of support data in previous construction, this study firstly analyzes the influence of surrounding rock characteristics on support materials. Furthermore, according to the results of range analysis, the relationship curve between surrounding rock characteristics and supporting materials is drawn. The correlation formulas between surrounding rock characteristics and supporting materials are analyzed by fitting the curve. Two cases were posted to compare the range analysis interpolation and fitting formula. The compare result shows that the range analysis is close to the actual support design.
