This paper dealt with a class of Kirchhoff type equations involving singular nonlinearity in a closed Riemannian manifold $(M,g)$ of dimension $n\ge 3$. Existence and uniqueness of a positive weak solution were obtained under certain assumptions with the help of the variation methods and some analysis techniques.
