Al₂O₃-SiC nanocomposites have been widely used in ceramic knives, coatings, ballistic armor and refractory materials and Al₂O₃-SiC composite powders can be synthesized using different techniques. In order to further analyze the Al₂O₃-SiC composites, this paper focuses on the preparation method of Al₂O₃-SiC, the factors affecting the properties of Al₂O₃-SiC composites and the applications of Al₂O₃-SiC composites, so as to provide an important reference value for the progress of the research on Al₂O₃-SiC composite ceramic materials.
