Silicon carbide particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites (SiCp/Al) have excellent mechanical properties, mainly in strength, stiffness, fatigue, etc., and are widely used in aerospace, optical precision instruments and other fields. In order to study the mechanical properties of SiCp/Al materials in terms of notches, uniaxial tensile tests are carried out, and the mechanical properties of SiCp/Al materials such as strength and elastic modulus are measured by using a three- dimensional digital speckle strain measurement and analysis system, and the displacement field and strain field at the neck of the material are collected. After analyzing and processing the experimental data, the data of the parameters required by the Johnson-Cook constitutive model is obtained, and the tensile test of the SiCp/Al material is simulated by using the ABAQUS finite element software. The measurement results of the 3D digital speckle strain system and the simulation results are compared and analyzed in the whole field. The results are in good agreement, and the error is within the allowable range, which verifies the rationality and effectiveness of the simulation.
