Overview

  • Journal of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles (JICV) publishes peer-reviewed, open access papers covering all aspects of intelligent and connected vehicles (ICVs, including cars, buses, vessels, and trains) technology. JICV welcomes theoretical articles, technology reviews, and case studies from multiple fields such as mechanical/automotive engineering, communication engineering, electrical and electronic engineering and computer, and network science. The area covers but is not limited to:

    • Environmental perception for ICVs.
    • Deployment and operations of ICVs as elements of intelligent transportation systems.
    • HD map and localization for ICVs.
    • V2X and Vehicle Infrastructure Cooperative Systems.
    • Intelligent driving decision and control.
    • Modelling and analysis on drivers’ behaviors.
    • HMI and co-driving.
    • Functional safety evaluation on ICVs.

      JICV is a fully open access journal. It is co-published quarterly by Tsinghua University Press and IEEE, on behalf of the State Key Laboratory of Automotive Safety and Energy (Tsinghua University, China). At its discretion, Tsinghua University Press will pay the open access fee for all published papers from 2023 to 2025.
