Overview

  • Founded in 1978, the Journal of Dairy Science and Technology is supervised by Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd., and hosted by Bright Dairy & Food Co., Ltd., with collaboration from the National Key Laboratory of Dairy Biotechnology and China Food Magazine. This journal is officially approved by the National Press and Publication Administration and is publicly issued both domestically and internationally as a Chinese scientific and technological journal. Its International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) is 1671-5187, and its domestic Unified Serial Publication Number (CN) is 31-1881/S. It is a bi-monthly publication.

    As a comprehensive publication covering both the dairy livestock and dairy product industries, the journal is recognized for its significant academic value. It was successively selected into the "Chinese Core Academic Journals Extension Library" by the Research Center for Chinese Science Evaluation in 2011, 2013, and 2015. From 2012 to 2023, it was continuously rated as a "Source Journals for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations(CSTPCD)" by the Chinese Institute of Scientific and Technical Information. Its impact factor has been steadily increasing, and it has also been fully indexed by databases such as the " Food Science and Technology Abstracts (FSTA)", “Wanfang Database", "CNKI", "VIP". 

    The journal targets experts, scholars, engineering technicians, master's and doctoral students, and management personnel from universities, research institutions, and governmental and enterprise sectors.
