Abstract

Drawing on valid job posting data collected from Boss Zhipin, this study examines the workforce structure and labor demand of China's quantum information industry by analyzing the geographical distribution of positions, educational and professional experience requirements, salary levels, and required skills. The results indicate that the demand for talent in China's quantum information industry is characterized by strong regional concentration and a predominance of highly educated professionals. Furthermore, the workforce structure is expected to evolve from a research-oriented model toward one that places equal emphasis on scientific research and engineering practice. In addition to core quantum competencies and interdisciplinary technical skills, employers also place explicit value on innovation awareness and the ability to communicate and collaborate across disciplinary boundaries.
