Infectious Medicine (IM) is an open access journal dedicated to infectious disease prevention, control, diagnosis, and surveillance. Committed to the One Health initiative, it serves as an integrated platform for research on human, animal, and environmental health.
IM is launching a Special Issue entitled "One Health and Infectious Disease Diagnosis-New Insights, Innovations, and Discoveries ". This Special Issue embraces the full spectrum of research aligned with the One Health concept and its intersection with infectious disease diagnosis. We invite contributions that present new findings, insights, and discoveries related to One Health—whether in disease ecology, pathogen dynamics, antimicrobial resistance, or environmental health—as well as innovative diagnostic technologies that operate within or inform the One Health framework. By welcoming both foundational discoveries and technological advances, we aim to foster a holistic understanding of infectious disease prevention and control. Original research, reviews, and case studies from diverse disciplines—human, animal, and environmental health—are encouraged.
Keywords: One Health; Infectious Disease Diagnosis; Zoonotic Diseases; Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR); Disease Ecology; Pathogen Dynamics; Environmental Health; Diagnostic Innovation; Molecular Immunology Diagnostics; Public Health Surveillance; Emerging Infectious Diseases
