Special issue information:
Brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) are innovative treatment methods for neurological and psychiatric disorders in Neurorestoratology. This Special Issue highlights clinical breakthroughs across invasive (e.g., cortical implants) and non-invasive (e.g., EEG/fNIRS) BCI technologies. We seek cutting-edge research on motor restoration in neurotrauma, stroke and neurodegenerative diseases, speech decoding for aphasia, and emotion modulation in depression. Contributions may address BCI neurorestorative mechanisms, effects combining neurorehabilitation, or scalable BCI designs for home-based care.
Submissions from interdisciplinary teams (engineering, neuroscience, and neuromedicine) are strongly encouraged. Join us in advancing BCI from labs to global healthcare – submit your work to enrich neurorestorative therapeutic explorations.
