CFP-Special Issue on Blockchain-Enabled Big Data Analytics: Innovations, Applications, and Challenges

The convergence of Blockchain technology and Big Data Analytics has emerged as a transformative approach to addressing data-related challenges in decentralized systems. Blockchain enhances the trustworthiness, security, and traceability of big data, while big data analytics unlocks actionable insights from blockchain-generated and external data sources. This Special Issue aims to bring together cutting-edge research that explores the integration of Blockchain with Big Data Analytics, focusing on novel frameworks, methodologies, applications, and challenges.

This Special Issue will provide a comprehensive understanding of the synergies between blockchain and big data analytics, offering valuable insights for academics, practitioners, and policymakers. It will also identify open challenges and guide future research directions in this rapidly evolving domain.

This Special Issue will address, but is not limited to, the following topics:

  1. Foundational Research:
    • Blockchain architectures for big data storage and management.
    • Integration frameworks for blockchain and big data analytics.
    • Scalability and performance optimization for blockchain-enabled big data systems.
  2. Data Security and Privacy:
    • Privacy-preserving big data analytics with blockchain.
    • Cryptographic techniques for secure big data sharing in blockchain ecosystems.
    • Decentralized identity management for big data systems.
  3. Applications:
    • Blockchain-enabled analytics in healthcare, finance, smart cities, and supply chains.
    • Use cases of blockchain in IoT-based big data systems.
    • Real-time data processing and predictive analytics using blockchain.
  4. Challenges and Future Directions:
    • Energy efficiency in blockchain-based big data systems.
    • Interoperability between blockchain platforms and big data tools.
    • Ethical implications and regulatory considerations in blockchain and big data integration.

The authors are requested to submit their full research papers complying with the general scope of the journal. The submitted papers will undergo peer review process before they can be accepted. Notification of acceptance will be communicated as we progress with the review process.

Papers submitted to this journal for possible publication must be original and must not be under consideration for publication in any other journals.
