Circular Economy

We are pleased to inform that the 17th International Conference on Waste Management and Technology (ICWMT17) will be held in Sanya, Hainan in China from November 19 to 23, 2022. The theme of this year’s conference is “Synergizing the Reduction of Pollution and Carbon Emission”. Throughout the conference, prominent researchers and government officials will give keynote speeches on pressing issues of solid waste management. ICWMT 17 provides an excellent opportunity for participants from industry and academia to keep up-to-date with the latest trends in solid waste management.

The conference will call for papers in related research fields on this topic, and contributions are welcome. The papers accepted by the experts will be compiled into the international conference proceedings, and the paper acceptance letter will be obtained. The conference papers are included in the “Full-text Database of Important Conference Papers in China”. Excellent papers will be recommended for submission to Circular Economy (https://www.journals.elsevier.com/circular-economy).

ICWMT 17 welcomes papers and presentations related to the following topics:

1. Zero-waste city and demonstrations;
2. Carbon neutrality and emission peak;
3. Hazardous waste management and risk prevention;
4. Circular economy and urban mining;
5. E-waste recycling and associated pollution control;
6. Integrated utilization of industrial solid waste;
7. Household refuse classification and disposal technology;
8. Biomass waste treatment and utilization as resource and energy;
9. Construction waste disposal and utilization as resource and energy;
10. Remediation and regulation of contaminated sites;
11. Management of chemicals and related regional policy.

If a letter of acceptance or proof of your thesis is required, you need to pay the registration fee.
