Journal of Tianjin University (Science and Technology) is a comprehensive academic journal sponsored by Tianjin University. It primarily publishes original research papers in the fields of natural science and engineering technology. The journal is published monthly.

1 Submission Guidelines

1.1 Submissions must be innovative, scholarly, scientific, standardized, and readable. They must be original works by the authors and submitted for first publication; authors retain the copyright. Content must comply with national regulations regarding the protection of state secrets and relevant national standards. Authors bear full responsibility for the content of their published articles.

1.2 Articles published in this journal may be submitted to domestic and international databases and indexing services (including print, CD-ROM, and online versions) without further consultation with the authors. A one-time honorarium will be paid after publication (please indicate at the time of submission if you do not consent to such inclusion; otherwise, consent will be assumed).

1.3 A page charge is levied for accepted manuscripts. In accordance with Copyright Law, the journal reserves the right to edit or abridge manuscripts; any changes affecting the substance of the content require the author's consent. Upon publication, remuneration is paid based on the number of pages, and a copy of the issue is provided to the author.

1.4 Please do not submit the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously.

2 Submission Requirements

2.1 Please provide the author's real name, contact address, email address, and telephone number. Include details for the first author, such as year of birth, gender, highest academic degree, professional title, and affiliation. Please also specify any funding sources and project grant numbers.

2.2 Manuscripts must have a clear theme, reliable data, and rigorous logic, ensuring distinct arguments, credible evidence, and accurate figures. Content must comply with regulations on protecting state secrets. Figures and tables should be clear, and the text concise; use statutory units of measurement and follow standard writing conventions. For foreign-language text, specify the language, capitalization, and use of upright or italic type. Use bold italics for characters representing matrices, vectors, and tensors. Variables and their units must be clearly indicated in accordance with national standards.

2.3 Please provide the title, abstract, and keywords—as well as figure and table captions—in both Chinese and English. The paper title should be concise—generally within 20 Chinese characters—to avoid line breaks. The abstract serves as a summary, conveying the substantive content of the paper. Its purpose is to provide readers with sufficient information to decide whether to access the full paper. The abstract plays a crucial role in whether the paper is indexed by Ei. It should be substantive and specific, covering the research objective, problem, process/methodology, results, and conclusions; it must be written in the third person (avoiding subjects such as "this paper" or "the author"). "Objective" refers to the premise, aim, task, and scope of the research, development, or investigation; "Method" refers to the principles, theories, conditions, subjects, processes, materials, structures, tools, equipment, and procedures employed; "Result" refers to experimental or research findings, data, established relationships, observations, effects, and performance metrics; "Conclusion" refers to the analysis, interpretation, comparison, evaluation, and application of results, as well as any issues raised. Select 5 to 8 keywords or phrases that accurately reflect the paper's subject matter. The Chinese abstract must contain at least 500 characters, and the English abstract must correspond to the Chinese version. Please provide the standard English translation of the author's affiliation and the Hanyu Pinyin for the author's name.

2.4 When citing other literature, please list the references sequentially at the end of the paper and mark them with square brackets at the corresponding locations in the text. References should consist of major, publicly published works; at least 50% of the cited literature should be from the last five years. Internal documents and unpublished materials must not be cited. A sequential numbering system is used for the reference list, based on the order of appearance in the text. List all authors if there are three or fewer; for four or more authors, list the first three followed by "et al." (or "等" for Chinese names). For foreign authors, write the surname first followed by the given name.

2.5 This journal has launched an online submission system (http://xbzrb.tju.edu.cn/) that supports functions such as manuscript submission, status tracking, and expert peer review. Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts online; submission via postal mail is generally discouraged.
