Clinical research

Gunnar Poplawski

图片6.jpg

Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute, USA

Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute, USA. His work focuses on aging, neural repair, and regeneration in the central nervous system. His research examines how age-related epigenetic changes limit neuronal plasticity and recovery after injury, and how these mechanisms can be reversed to restore youthful regenerative capacity. His laboratory studies spinal cord injury, corticospinal tract regeneration, and related molecular pathways, while also developing advanced genetic and viral tools for mechanistic discovery. Dr. Poplawski’s overarching goal is to translate insights from aging biology into therapies that promote repair in the injured and diseased nervous system.

Guang’anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences,China

Director of the Second Outpatient Department at Guang’anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. He studied under renowned physicians including Feng Shilun and Hua Baojin. Dr. Bao advocates a classic formula system summarized as “treating all diseases via the six-meridian differentiation” and places strong emphasis on identifying chief symptoms, differentiating formula patterns, and grasping dynamic pathogenesis. His clinical interests include nodular diseases (lung, thyroid, and breast), postoperative care of malignant tumors (lung, gastric, and liver cancers), and the management of gynecological, pediatric, and cervical/lumbar pain conditions.
