Journal of Environmental Entomology flipped to an open access journal in 2024, using the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license. All articles published from issue 1 of 2024 onwards are open access works, which are archived on the journal's official website immediately after publication and are permanently available to all users free of charge. Authors are required to sign and submit the Publication and Copyright Transfer Agreement at the time of submission. According to this agreement, once an article is accepted by the journal, the author(s) will transfer the full copyright of the article to the editorial office of Journal of Environmental Entomology, including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, distribution, translation, performance, compilation and adaptation, and all other transferable copyrights in the article of print version and electronic versions (such as CD-ROMs and online versions).
