The Journal of Biomedical Research (JBR) is an open-access journal. All published articles are made immediately and permanently available online for everyone to read and download, free of charge, under an open access license.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Under this license, anyone is permitted to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use, provided that proper attribution is given to the original author(s), the original publication is cited, and a link to the license is provided. This grants broad re-use rights to the public, in line with the journal's commitment to open dissemination of research.

For any materials (e.g., figures, tables, text excerpts) that have been previously published elsewhere in print or electronic format and are reused or adapted in a submitted manuscript, authors must obtain written permission from the copyright owner and submit it along with the manuscript, if required. The responsibility for obtaining permission to reuse third-party material rests solely with the author.
