Aims and Scope

Therap is a peer-reviewed (double-blind), open-access and interdisciplinary journal, published quarterly by Tsinghua University Press, released exclusively on SciOpen. Therap publishes original high-quality research papers and significant review articles that focus on cutting-edge advancements in advanced biological technology, treatment methods, new drug research and development, treatment incentive mechanism, etc.

Scope:

The theme of the magazine mainly includes the advanced research of biomedicine, especially including: Clinical research, basic research, epidemiology, systematic review, case report, medical materials, genetics, cytology, etc.

Manuscripts of 12 types are considered:

1. Original Research: Reports novel empirical data from a completed study, including detailed methods, results, and discussion, and serves as the main source of new scientific evidence.

2. Review: Critically synthesizes and evaluates the existing published literature on a focused topic, often using systematic or meta-analytic methods to provide an updated state-of the-art overview.

3. Editorials: Are short, typically invited pieces that express the journal’s or an expert’s opinion on a current issue, recent article, or policy, without presenting original data.

4. Perspective: Offers a forward-looking, expert personal interpretation of emerging trends, challenges, or future directions in a research or clinical area.

Case Reports, Letters to the Editor, Study Protocols, Opinions, Letters, Commentary, News, Consensus were also allowed.
