Transactions of Tianjin University (TTJU) is a bimonthly journal that was first published in 1995. TTJU is an international academic journal sponsored by Tianjin University under the administration of Ministry of Education of China. It is indexed by ESCI, EI, Scopus, CA, and other databases, ranked in Q1 zone of JCR. The journal mainly reports the important and innovative research achievements in the field of Advanced Energy Chemistry and Materials. The scope of the journal is broad. Topics published include but not limit to: Solar energy utilization, Hydrogen production and storage, CO₂ capture and conversion, Fuel cells, Batteries and supercapacitors, Catalysis, Clean utilization of coal and oil, Biofuels, Energy policy, etc.

TTJU is jointly published with the renowned international publishing group Springer Nature. The full text is available in electronic format online. In 2011, the internationalized review and submission platform ScholarOne Manuscripts was officially launched.
