Hydrosphere is an international peer-reviewed open access journal published by Tsinghua University Press. It publishes invited high-quality Forum Research and Review Papers, and open Discussions and Discussion Papers, to provide a platform with theoretical, statistical, numerical, experimental and field studies about the hydrosphere of the Earth. Of particular interest are the papers that lead significant advances in the knowledge about the water motion and energy conversion in the hydrosphere, as well as their interactions with other spheres.

With a strong target of developing novel knowledge system in hydrosphere theory and technology, and providing effective solutions to various practical water issues, the potential authors are encouraged to contribute papers from a wide range of interests, making Hydrosphere a world leading journal addressing the knowledge gaps among climatology, hydrology, oceanography, meteorology, hydraulics, hydrodynamics, etc. The article topics include but are not limited to:

• Dynamics and structure of the hydrosphere
• Monitoring, simulation, and prediction of the hydrosphere
• Generation and re-generation of water resources
• Exploitation and utilization of air-land-water resources
• High-performance modeling for the hydrosphere
• Inter-sphere actions and impact
