Shouldering times mission, serving great nation——Review of scientific research development of China University of Petroleum-Beijing

The scientific research work of China University of Petroleum-Beijing(CUPB) always serves the national energy industry, and has made important contributions to the national energy development. In this paper, the scientific research jobs of CUPB in the past 70 years were reviewed, the characteristics of CUPB’s scientific research were analyzed, and the achievements and experiences were summarized. Then the trends of future development paths of CUPB were claimed. By the occasion of the 70th anniversary of CUPB, this paper intends to inspire all faculties and students to make further efforts and move forward with perseverance and determination.
