Research progress of lncRNA in honey bee

To comprehensively summarize the current research progress on long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in honey bees, with the aim of providing insights for further investigations into their regulatory mechanisms, this review compiles and organizes all published studies on honeybee lncRNAs, summarizing their research directions and major findings on honey bees. We found that current research on honey bee lncRNAs mainly focuses on five areas: regulation of division of labor, caste differentiation, reproduction, immune defense, and growth and development.
