How to Carry Out the Construction of Cyber Security in University Campuses?

The development of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and cloud computing has brought fundamental transformations to the educational field, while also providing new attack surfaces for cyber attackers, posing new challenges to the construction of cyber security in university campuses. Based on this, the paper first introduced the current situation of network environment and cyber security in university campuses. Then, using data analysis methods and case analysis methods, supplemented by first-line investigations, it systematically assessed the current situation of university cyber security protection. Subsequently, it revealed the main problems existing in the construction of university campus cyber security. Finally, targeted suggestions for the construction of cyber security in university campuses were proposed, including aligning with the Equal Protection 2.0 to build proactive defense systems, fostering collaboration between teachers and students to form campus cyber security teams, and strengthening the education of cyber security awareness for all teachers and students. The research in this article responded to the core issue of “how to carry out the construction of cyber security in university campuses”, which was helpful for university administrators to scientifically formulate cyber security strategies and governance measures, and ensure the healthy and sustainable development of campus informatization and intelligence construction.
