Abstract

Traditional teacher-led teaching often focuses on knowledge transfer, while neglecting the cultivation of students' innovative thinking and abilities. In order to enhance students' initiative in learning, cultivate their comprehensive skills, and promote their understanding and application of knowledge, we set out exploration of projected-based teaching in the optics curriculum. Guided by the goal of improving students' quality and capabilities, the teaching team has restructured the knowledge system, teaching organization, and evaluation system. Students dive into initiative learning under the guidance of teachers. Practice shows that project-based teaching can give the subject role to students, significantly enhancing their learning abilities and scientific literacy while they acquire knowledge. It makes students realize the importance of learning and promotes them to gain spirits of exploring and responsibility.
