By cutting a straw at a fixed point and shaping it into a triangular simple water pump, the influence of its geometry and other related parameters on the pumping speed was studied. In the research process, we analyzed the effects of half base Angles, fixed rotation speed, vessel section size on the pumping speed, and analyzed the threshold speed under different tilt angles. We came up with recommendations to optimize the pump design, including using a triangle with a larger outsole length and height and operating the pump at a higher rotation speed to achieve more efficient water extraction and at the same time to calculate the optimal range of the bottom angle size. In addition, COMSOL multi-physical field software was used to simulate the model. The liquid surface velocity distribution field and pressure field were obtained by using the fluid module. The fluid flow line distribution field was obtained by setting the inlet and outlet and changing the boundary conditions.
