Abstract

The “Dark matter” in the 2023 Beijing graded examination brings new situations and problem challenges to students. It requires students to use analogical reasoning methods to construct models of new problems while exploring new things in nature, and to engage in in-depth thinking in conjunction with the development of material concepts. This design aims to inspire students to study, explain natural phenomena, and solve practical problems like scientists. At the same time, this paper expounds how to recognize new knowledge scientifically, promote the development of scientific attitude and innovative thinking, and probes into the teaching strategies of how to integrate scientific frontier knowledge in science education.
