Abstract

Physics is the product of observation, experiment, thinking and creation. The overall goal of the College Physics course should be the cultivation and improvement of correct values, independent inquiry ability and creative thinking. The following four aspects can solve problems such as students' lack of interest and motivation, unconscious listening, and poor learning experience to achieve the course goals: make full use of the close connection between physics and life and technology, and integrate life phenomena, technological applications, experimental practices and other content related to knowledge points to make the classroom have “six characteristics and one degree”; design “big questions” and “small question chains” for the reconstructed teaching modules as a whole, and design “three main lines” that are integrated with each other in class; propose the “progressive inspiring and problem-solving” teaching method to immerse students in the classroom; use information-based and diversified teaching methods to enhance students' learning experience and improve classroom efficiency. The teaching design based on “big questions” and “small question chains” complements the “progressive inspiring and problem-solving” teaching method. With problems as the core and problem-solving as the goal, it comprehensively exercises students' abilities to analyze and solve problems and creative thinking.
