Abstract

With the development of computing science, digital simulation technology has been widely applied in the field of education. In university physics experiment teaching, software simulations can more intuitively display experimental phenomena and simulate laws, obtaining physical quantities that cannot be measured experimentally, thereby expanding the breadth and depth of experimental teaching. This paper uses COMSOL Multiphysics software to simulate and analyze the viscosity measurement experiment using the falling ball method. It studies phenomena such as the velocity field, pressure gradient, velocity changes, and force diagrams in the viscosity measurement experiment. The research found that COMSOL software provides high accuracy in experimental modeling, effectively assisting experimental teaching and development. This helps students deepen their understanding of the laws of physics experiments, cultivate their digital application skills, and ultimately enhance the effectiveness of experimental teaching.
