This paper takes light interference and diffraction as an example, and elaborates on the teaching objectives, teaching process, teaching evaluation and other aspects of split classroom, and discusses the advantages and limitations of flipped classroom. The innovation points of this paper lies in: (1) applying the split classroom teaching mode to the highly abstract and difficult physical content of interference and diffraction of light, exploring an effective teaching method; (2) Designing some practical and innovative discussion or project questions, which stimulated students' curiosity and thirst for knowledge about the application and development of light interference and diffraction in various fields; (3) using various methods to evaluate split classroom teaching mode objectively and comprehensively, finding out the advantages and disadvantages, and improving and perfecting it.
