Abstract

In order to support and serve the overall planning of Langfang City, by comparing and analyzing the core data of 80 boreholes in the planning area (200 square kilometers), 912 groups of rock and soil physical and mechanical tests and 711 standard penetration tests were tested. The characteristics of underground space resources and main environmental engineering geological problems are in the planning area of Langfang city. The engineering geological structural characteristics of the underground space development and utilization layer (0~50 m) in the planned area of Langfang City have been investigated and identified, and eight engineering geological strata have been delineated. The physical and mechanical properties of the rock and soil in each engineering geological stratum group were experimentally analyzed. By using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the suitability of engineering construction in the planned area of Langfang City was quantitatively analyzed and evaluated. A semi-quantitative comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the suitability of underground space development was conducted, highlighting the key environmental engineering geological issues that need to be addressed during engineering construction and underground space development. Furthermore, reasonable methods for the development and utilization of underground space resources were proposed, providing reliable reference for the overall planning and construction of Langfang City.
