Abstract

A deformation monitoring system of deep foundation pit based on machine vision technology was established. The deformation monitoring system consists of a camera with 8 mm focus, several targets and fixtures, which realizes that the modified machine vision system is successfully applied to the deformation monitoring of deep foundation pit. In order to verify the monitoring effect of machine vision technology in the process of deep foundation pit construction. Firstly, the displacement calibration test of machine vision technology is carried out. The minimum resolution of the monitoring system is 0.1 mm. With the increase of the focus length and distance, the accuracy is higher. For the 8mm focal-length cameras, the camera accuracy reaches ± 0.5 mm within 20 mm from the target distance. As the distance increases, the accuracy becomes significantly worse and ± 1 mm when the displacement distance exceeds 20 mm. In the construction process of Huangmugang traffic hub, machine vision technology is used for monitoring, and the monitoring results are predicted by a support vector machine. The prediction error does not exceed 6%, which provides new ideas for the safety management in the construction of deep foundation pit.
