Abstract

Promoting high quality development is an important means to realize the Chinese dream and an inevitable requirement for social development. In this paper, entropy method, Gini coefficient and coupling coordination degree model are used to measure the high quality development status of Ordos City in 2020, analyze its spatial differences, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions based on the corresponding results. The results show that the overall level of high quality development in Ordos City in 2020 is moderate. According to Lorentz curve and Gini coefficient, there is little difference in high-quality development among different counties areas, and there is no obvious inhomogeneity between the central city and each county. High quality development in space presents the characteristics of "High in central, low in north, moderate in south". The comprehensive scores of the six indexes (safety, innovation, coordination, green, opening and sharing) of the central city and Yijin Horuo county are all good, but the driving effect on the neighboring counties is not significant. There is a large difference in the high level development between the counties and the central city of Ordos. In terms of coupling coordination degree, the coupling coordination degree of most of the counties is in a relatively coordinated stage, and some counties have a tendency of imbalance or have been imbalance.
