Impact of national special programs on regional economy based on composite PSM model

Abstract

In this context, based on the survey data of various districts and counties in Sichuan Province from 2015 to 2019, the impact of the national special plan on local economic growth was studied by factor analysis, ordinary least squares (OLS) analysis and propensity score matching method. The results show that the implementation of national special planning policies can promote the development of local economy to a certain extent. It fully affirmed the positive role of the national special plan on the long-term economic development and talent training of poverty-stricken areas.
