Abstract

Taking the national black tourism resources as the research object, using network information as the data source, constructing the black tourism resource attractiveness evaluation index system and using the entropy method for value evaluation. Using the spatial analysis method to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics of the dark tourism resource attractiveness. Conclusions were as follow: ① A total of 203 eligible dark tourism resource monomers were selected from the four major website platforms which belong to 5 types, war relics and memorials, historical figures burial sites, cemeteries, prisons, and geological disaster relics. ② The overall tourism attractiveness evaluation value of dark tourism resources is 0.335, of which war relics and memorials (0.352) have the highest average attractiveness, and various resources have obvious advantages and disadvantages under different evaluation dimensions. ③ China’s dark tourism resources are mainly distributed in the central and eastern regions, the western and southern regions have fewer resource points. All the dark tourism resources, historical figures’ burial sites, and cemeteries have spatial agglomeration characteristics. ④ The national dark resources have a single-core distribution in space. The pattern has a multi-core distribution trend. The attractive hot spots are mainly distributed in the core area of the attraction of dark tourism resources. There are differences in the attractive spatial distribution of specific types of resources. Based on the above research conclusions, we hope to provide targeted opinions and suggestions on the enhancement of the attractiveness of the country’s dark tourism resources and the future planning and development.
