Abstract

For the multi-physical field coupling and bubble dynamics in the molten glass liquid transport process, the Fluent numerical simulation system is used to investigate the temperature-viscosity effect on the flow characteristics of the glass liquid and the movement law of the bubbles in the channel in this study. Considering the temperature-viscosity effect, the internal pressure change of the system is large, and the total differential pressure increases by 40%-50%, compared with the isothermal condition; the speed is less affected by the temperature-viscosity effect which is negligible. The larger the bubble is, the easier it is to move away from the flow field towards the upper wall, inducing local vortices and the stronger perturbation effect on the flow field. As the bubble mass flow increases, the spacing between bubbles decreases and the interference between them increases, causing turbulence in the flow field.
