Abstract

【Objective】

To explore the ecological adaptability of Aronia melanocarpa fruit quality under the special climatic conditions of Yulin sandy area and provide a theoretical basis for its promotion and cultivation in this region.

【Method】

Taking Aronia melanocarpa in Yulin sandy area as the research object, correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression were used to analyze the response of fruit quality to the physiological and biochemical indicators of the special climatic conditions in Yulin.

【Result】

1) From 2018 to 2024, the climate in Yulin sandy area showed a coordinated change pattern of “warming - humidification - strong wind”, and the fruit quality of Aronia melanocarpa generally showed an optimization trend from 2022 to 2024; 2) Correlation analysis indicated that annual average temperature, annual precipitation, average wind speed, and mildness index had positive effects on the sensory and internal quality of Aronia melanocarpa fruits, while cold index and annual range mainly showed negative effects; 3) Multiple stepwise regression analysis results showed that average wind speed, annual range, and monthly precipitation during the growth period were significant climatic factors affecting the sensory quality of fruits (R2≥0.648), among which average wind speed was the core positive driving factor; internal quality was mainly dominated by average wind speed and cold index, with model determination coefficients ranging from 0.598 to 0.964.

【Conclusion】

The climate change in Yulin sandy area from 2018 to 2024 significantly optimized the fruit quality of Aronia melanocarpa through a synergistic effect. Among them, average wind speed and cold index were the positive and negative dominant factors, respectively, confirming that this tree species has good regional ecological adaptability and is suitable for promotion and cultivation in the Yulin sandy area.
