Abstract

The electric shock insecticidal lamp is a green pest control technology that utilizes the phototactic behavior of pests by attracting them with specific wavelengths of light and eliminating them through electric shock. It offers advantages such as simple operation, no chemical residues, and environmental friendliness, and has been widely applied in agricultural and forestry production. However, in complex environments such as mountain orchards, a single insecticidal lamp, due to its fixed installation position, has a limited coverage range and cannot achieve large-scale, efficient pest control.

【Objective】

To address the problems of limited coverage, low trapping efficiency, and complicated deployment caused by the fixed installation of a single electric shock insecticidal lamp in mountain orchards, this study proposes a mobile electric shock insecticidal method based on an electric monorail transporter equipped with a frequency-vibration electric shock insecticidal lamp. The aim is to make full use of the existing monorail transportation platform in orchards to realize multi-point mobile deployment of insecticidal lamps, thereby improving operational coverage and trapping efficiency.

【Method】

The method involves mounting a frequency-vibration electric shock insecticidal lamp on an electric monorail transporter in a mountain orchard. The transporter travels to multiple preset positions within a single day, staying at each position for a certain period, thus enabling a single lamp to perform pest control at multiple locations in one day.

【Result】

To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, two comparative experiments were conducted in the same area, comparing the mobile insecticidal method with the fixed insecticidal method. The results showed that during the experimental period, the fixed method killed an average of 47.14 insects per day, totaling 4 714 insects, while the mobile method killed an average of 61.56 insects per day, totaling 6 156 insects. The mobile method increased insecticidal efficiency by an average of 57.52% compared with the fixed method.

【Conclusion】

This study provides a new technical approach for the green prevention and control of pests using frequency-vibration electric shock insecticidal lamps in farmland and orchards, based on the peak activity periods of different pests. It helps reduce the number of lamps required, enhances efficiency, lowers costs, and provides a theoretical basis for precise pest control at different infestation levels in orchards.
