Abstract

This paper is aimed to study on the twisted tire porcelain of Dangyangyu kiln. By comparing the decorative patterns on the existing collections and cultural relics, the unique artistic characteristics of Dangyangyu kiln twisted tire porcelain are summarized, in terms of pattern characteristics, decorative application and visual composition. Combined with the relevant literature of sociology and folklore, the beautiful cultural connotation hidden in the twisted tire porcelain of Dangyangyu kiln will be described. Through the study of the aesthetic meaning of Dangyangyu kiln twisted tire porcelain, it is useful for us to better explore the traditional culture and hence achieve more effective cultural dissemination.
