Spatial distribution characteristics and driving force analysis of Baijiu industry in Guizhou

It is of great significance to study the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of Baijiu industry to realize the benign and sustainable development of this industry. The data of Baijiu enterprises in different periods was analyzed by kernel density analysis, mathematical statistics analysis and layer overlay analysis, and the spatial distribution of Baijiu industry in Guizhou was systematically studied. The results showed that the Baijiu industry in Guizhou province had experienced rapid expansion from 2011 to 2020, and this growth trend was closely related to the rapid economic development. Renhuai city has always been the core area of Baijiu enterprises distribution, Guiyang City, Tongren City, Liupanshui City and other places had gradually formed a sub-center. The distribution of Baijiu industry in other prefecture-level cities/autonomous prefectures was relatively small. The effects of geographical factors (including elevation, elevation, aspect and slope), gross domestic product (GDP) and regional population on Baijiu industry distribution were also analyzed. The research results provided a scientific basis for Guizhou provincial government to formulate the Baijiu industry development policy and promote the balanced development of the industry in the region. At the same time, the research results could improve the awareness of the Baijiu industry practitioners for the development of the industry, and help to plan the development direction and strategy of the enterprise more accurately.
