With the national "carbon neutral" goal put forward, the development of cellulose and other bio-renewable resources is of great significance. The hydrolysis of cellulose to prepare glucose is the key to resource utilization. The common liquid acid hydrolysis and enzymatic hydrolysis have some problems respectively, such as reactor corrosion, waste treatment difficulty and poor recyclability, high cost, low efficiency, long reaction time and so on. Therefore, environmentally friendly and reusable solid acids are increasingly used in cellulose hydrolysis reactions. In this paper, the hydrolysis of cellulose by traditional solid acid and new magnetic solid acid were reviewed, and the future development of cellulose was prospected, in order to provide reference for the application of cellulose in chemistry, fermentation and food fields.
