This paper discusses the practically fixed-time consensus tracking of the nonlinear multi-agent systems for an undirected graph under intermittent adaptive event-triggered strategy. The settling time for fixed-time does not depend on the initial values of the systems. Compared with the existing results, the intermittent communication used in this paper is based on the average control rate. Moreover, in order to reduce communication costs, the event-triggered strategies are introduced into intermittent strategies and an adaptive strategy is designed. For the intermittent adaptive event-triggered strategies, Zeno behavior can be avoided and there is no differential explosion problem. Finally, we apply the theoretical results to the Chua’s circuit systems, and some simulations are provided.
