Highlights

• By integrating RT-RAA with CRISPR/Cas12a, a portable, one-pot visual detection system was engineered, significantly minimizing the potential for false positives caused by aerosol contamination.

• RT-RAA-CRISPR/Cas12a assay can complete the detection within 40 min, with a sensitivity as high as 3.9 copies µL–1 for single copy.
