Abstract

Retroclival epidural hematomas (REDH) are particularly rare conditions. We report for the first time the effect of conservative treatment of this rare condition with atorvastatin and glucocorticoids and review the literature. In this case, atorvastatin and glucocorticoid therapy can promote hematoma absorption and symptom relief, providing a novel possibility for conservative treatment of REDH.
