Aims and Sope

Advancements in energy materials and devices have become integral to addressing global energy challenges. As we push the boundaries of innovation in renewable energy, it is imperative to focus on the safety and durability of the materials and devices that power our sustainable future. This special issue aims to bring together cutting-edge research and developments in the realm of safety and durability of energy materials and devices.

We invite researchers contribute articles on the following topics:

  • Material Innovations for Enhanced Safety: Novel materials designed for improved safety in energy storage and conversion devices.
  • Durability Challenges in Energy Storage Systems: Investigations into the longevity and performance of batteries, supercapacitors, and other energy storage technologies.
  • Safety Protocols and Standards: Developments in safety protocols and standards for energy materials and devices.
  • Failure Mechanisms and Mitigation Strategies: ln-depth analyses of failure mechanisms in energy systems and strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Advanced Testing and Diagnostic Techniques: Innovations in testing methodologies and diagnostic tools for assessing the safety and durability of energy materials and devices.
  • Cross-disciplinary Approaches: Collaborative efforts integrating materials science, engineering, chemistry, and other disciplines to enhance the safety and durability of energy technologies.

 

Article types

Research Article: full-length original articles which report research developments on next-generation solar cells.

Review: review articles which inform readers of the latest research and advances in next-generation solar cells.
