CFP– Special Series on Intelligent Medical Engineering

Intelligent medical engineering is a new cross discipline that is based on modern medical and biological theories, integrates advanced artificial intelligence and engineering technologies in related fields such as brain cognition, big data, cloud computing, machine learning, studies the nature and laws of human life and disease phenomena, and explores intelligent diagnosis and treatment methods and clinical applications of human-computer collaboration. It is no doubt that there are tremendous opportunities in such research areas. Lots of challenges need to be resolved for achieving enhanced health and medical care services.

From now on, we will set up a special subject on intelligent medical engineering. This subject will have 3-4 related academic papers within every two issues. All submissions and review processes will be carried out in strict accordance with the requirements of the Journal. Topics that may include, but not limited to:

  • Integration of heterogeneous medical services
  • Health sensing technologies and systems and their interoperation
  • Health data storage, processing and manipulation
  • Data mining/deep knowledge discovery from Health and Medical data
  • Big data analysis on health and medical area
  • Intelligent integration of multiple medical service/system
  • Intelligent healthcare/decision support system
  • Medical related image and video processing
  • Semantic/knowledge driven medical information management
  • Interoperation of medical services and devices in smart environments
  • Disease predication and diagnosis based on AI
  • Signal recognition in Pharmacovigilance
  • Rational drug system
  • Privacy and security and on healthcare

 SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Papers submitted to this journal for possible publication must be original and must not be under consideration for publication in any other journals and formal conference proceedings.
