abstract = {The characteristics of future digital textbooks are visual, audible, interactive, retrievable, and capable of providing exercises for students, and integrating these “five capabilities” into one is the unique function of digital textbooks. This paper first outlines the differences in the forms and usage methods between digital and printed textbooks; then, proposes the construction scheme, structure and path of designing high-quality digital textbooks, that is, personalized scheme, virtual reality plan, knowledge graph structure, and cultivation paths; finally, makes a strategic analysis of many related issues on how digital textbooks reflect type features and era characteristics, adhere to the problem-oriented and systematic concept, innovate while maintaining integrity, and other worldviews and methodologies. The paper mainly takes the textbook “College Physics” (Published by the Southeast University Press) as an example to expound or circumstantially prove related issues.}
