abstract = {To implement the fundamental task of “fostering virtue through education” and address the disconnect between ideological-political education and science and engineering courses, this study takes solid state physics as the carrier and the scientific spirit of Mr. Huang Kun as the core ideological-political element, excavating its spiritual connotations including scientific research for national service and dedication to orthodox teaching, and constructs an integrated ideological-political teaching framework of “spirit excavation-goal mapping-path practice.” In teaching, Huang Kun’s scientific research deeds and disciplinary contributions are integrated into the teaching, learning, and research processes of core knowledge points such as “lattice vibrations” and “band theory, ” combined with case-driven and thematic discussion models, while synchronously optimizing the course evaluation system incorporating value literacy. Practice demonstrates that this framework effectively stimulates students’ learning motivation, significantly enhances their scientific thinking, innovation awareness, and academic expression capabilities while deepening their understanding of professional knowledge, and strengthens their sense of mission to serve the country through science and technology. The research confirms that constructing an ideological-political course system based on the scientific spirit can achieve the “trinity” deep integration, and its teaching paradigm provides important reference and promotional value for the ideological-political construction of science and engineering courses.}
