abstract = {The Yellow River Basin is an important energy base and manufacturing cluster area in China, and its industrial ecologicalization is of great significance for promoting the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin. Based on the dual-dimensional perspective of the industrial system and the eco-environmental system, this paper uses the entropy method, the coupling coordination degree model, and the spatial Durbin model to analyze the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics and influencing factors of the industrial ecologicalization in the Yellow River Basin from 2012 to 2022. The results show that: the overall industrial ecologicalization in the Yellow River Basin is on the rise, but there are significant regional differences, with the spatial pattern of “high in the east and low in the west”; industrial ecologicalization has significant spatial correlation, the global Moran index shows an upward trend, and the spatial dependence between regions is continuously strengthening; industrial agglomeration and environmental governance form a global inhibition; urbanization and the degree of opening-up have significant positive spillover effects; and green innovation exacerbates regional development disparities through a dual “siphon-squeeze” mechanism.}
