abstract = {In this paper, the data-driven leader-following output consensus problem is addressed for discrete-time heterogeneous Multi-Agent Systems (MASs) in the presence of duration-constrained DoS attacks. First, a novel resilient distributed observer with exponential convergence is proposed for each follower to estimate the state of the leader. Then, based on the proposed resilient distributed observer, a data-driven distributed controller is designed for the concerned MAS with unknown agent parameters. It is shown that the resulting closed-loop MAS can achieve leader-following output consensus under some mild conditions. Different from most of the previous works that focus on continuous-time MASs under DoS attacks with undirected communication networks, this paper solves the data-driven leader-following output consensus problem for discrete-time heterogeneous MASs with directed communication networks in the presence of DoS attack. A simulation study is finally presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed distributed controller.}
