abstract = {The large-scale integration of concentrating solar power (CSP) presents great challenges for power system operation due to its complex structure, as well as the inherent uncertainty of radiation resource. This paper develops a robust power system scheduling method with large-scale CSP considering the radiation uncertainty. First, the CSP unit operation model is established with its energy flows and two-phase startup process formulated. Then, a two-stage robust optimization (RO) framework is developed to cope with uncertainties from both solar radiation and other renewable resources. Furthermore, a solution algorithm with clustering units is proposed to enhance the computational efficiency of the two-stage RO framework, with a correction strategy designed to ensure the rationality of commitment plan allocation. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through case studies on the modified IEEE-RTS 79, including large-scale examples, and the impact of radiation uncertainty is also investigated.}
